Incubus Live in Manila [March 2008]
I actually heard the GREATEST news from my bro last weekend and until now the feeling of excitement is still flowing through my veins.. Haha! One of the biggest regret of my life: I missed their (Incubus) first concert in Manila last 2004. I was in 1st year college then and broke that time. Such a big la-looser! Haha! Tsk tsk. Pity me. I worship their album Morning View and Make Yourself..and currently loving their "Light Grenades" released in 2006.
Now that I'm filthy rich (haha joke!), I could afford to buy the front row seat ticket in Araneta Coliseum. March 9, 2008 is THE day. Brandon Boyd, here i come!

Under construction..pffbt! :p
I freaked out when I saw that my blog displayed other content. A woman driving her car and saying that this domain is under construction? Whaaat! Good thing it's fixed now..Whew!
Anyway, I haven't been blogging lately. You know work (eh?) and me busy converting my movies(.avi) to .mp4. Hmmm.. Probably you're wondering why? All right then.. here goes. I bought an iPod Classic (80G)... Hurrah!  An early Christmas gift for myself. Aahh.. What a wonderful feeling! Me being a "baon" girl is so 100% effective. All the dough I saved... Actually I didn't saw it coming. I mean me buying an iPod. I always tell myself not to buy one because it's so expensive and I consider it as a luxury. But hey, I deserve to have this "luxury". I'm a certifed movie buff and a music lover. So I think this gadget is the one. Haha! Spending something you earned (from hardwork?) is a bliss. I really don't classify myself as an impulsive buyer of gadgets. I'm not the type that would change cellphone models every month/year, buy unnecessary equipment and most especially has the latest, upgraded, and the coolest gadget in the world. Haha! I'm contented with the gadgets I have now. I don't need a 100-in-one gadget. As long as I have a phone, digicam, PDA, and my new iPod (and of course my Hon, Family and Friends), I can live contentedly and happily.

Last All Saint's Day (Nov.1), We (together with Ate Beth and Kuya Lloyd) went to the Libingan ng mga Bayani to visit Lolo Nep's grave. Yup, Libingan ng mga Bayani! My Lolo is indeed a hero for he had served the country in the Philippine Air Force during his time. Tito George and Nicole fetched us at 2:30 pm that day.
I was still feeling woozy that time since I went home at around 4am.. Great! Thanks Joelito for the treat.. Watta Halloween party! hehe! Anyway, it was my first time to go to the cemetery. The place was clean, serene and broad. All you can see are crosses with the engraved name and a mini Philippine flag on each. It's way different from other grave/cemetery. I was thinking of the "appartment" type!
All my cousins have grown so fast. (or am I really getting old na?haha..) Nicole was like a 10 year old girl when I last saw her. And now she's a first year college student in Lasalle. Geez! How fast time flies.. Too bad I wasn't able to see her younger sisters. Before we left, we prayed sincerely for Lolo, Lola, Tita Porsha's and other souls in purgatory. T'was Oct 19th around 1:30pm when a breaking news shocked the Filipino community. I was at work when my bro messaged me in YM. "Walang pupunta sa Glorietta." "May bombang sumabog!" And I'm like, "I was just there last night!" Geez! Whatta shocking news! To think that I always, i mean ALWAYS, go there. My hon and I always meet up there. And where the "bomb" was planted was our way for my ride home.
It was said on the news that police speculated that liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank caused the explosion, specifically from Luk Yuen restaurant. But according to the Operations Manager of Luk Yuen that the restaurant doesn't use LPG in their kitchen. Whatever it is, the bombing caused a lot of damages. 8 people killed and hundreds wounded. Oh, I just recently read articles from the internet and it said that the number of people killed during the incident climbs to 11. and according to a PNP chemist that they have found residues of the C-4 bomb component "RDX" in the explosion site.
" RDX stands for royal demolition explosive, an ingredient in C-4, also called cyclotrimethylene-trinitramine (C3H6N6O6), which is made up of polyisobutylene, the binder, and di(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate and the plasticizer, which makes the element material malleable. "
Thank God everybody warned me about this. I ain't going to that mall again.. or any Ayala mall, perhaps. It's so dangerous nowadays... very dangerous. Take care peepz. Stay safe and don't forget to pray everyday.

Which Disney Princess am i?
I took a survey that I saw in Friendster Bulletin Board. It was started by Hersh and I was quite interested so I also took that survey. My result? Ariel from the Little Mermaid! I always love to watch Disney Movies especially those Classic Cartoons. Hehe... But, I wasn't contented with the result. I dunno.. Maybe because I think that survey is not that efficient. Or I really want to check if I was really like Ariel. So what I did was, I googled for another quiz that was just like that survey. "Which Disney Princess are you?" Haha.. I know It's a bit cheesy and kiddy(Is there such word?). Oh well, I have nothing much to do (yet) at work and I want to see reliable results. Hahaha... Well guess what? I took a very thorough(yeah thorough) quiz about this. Yeah yeah.. I know what you are thinking. Actually I took 5 different quizzes. How laloozer of me. 4 out 5 said I'm Ariel. The other quiz resulted "You are like Mulan". I said to myself "Why Mulan?Do I really have a tendency to be boyish or strong?" Okay, okay..at times I act so boyish(so what?)
So back to that Ariel... She's cute, funny, fun loving, quirky(?), dreamy, girly, youngest in the family, adventurous and a girl who would fight for her love ones. Yup that's me...though I don't have a long, red hair and obviously I'm not a mermaid.

"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
Does anybody know about this U.K comedy series? I have! My bro have a complete set of episode of Series 1 and we watched 2 episodes last night. Actually, they already started watching it last weekend but then I was so sleepy that time so pass muna ako. While we were eating dinner, my bro played it in our PC and got curious of that "unknown" series. I remembered and asked "Ah yan ba yung pinapanuod nyo nung isang araw??" "Oo, maganda yan. Manuod ka.", my bro replied.
Since there's nothing good to watch, I gave it a shot to watch this series. One word - HILARIOUS! Too bad that was already episode 3, i guess. But then you don't have to watch the previous episodes to understand it. It's a comedy series (uh, just like Will and Grace?) The main casts: Jen, Moss and Roy (see picture above). They are part of the I.T support who actually lived in a forgotten dingy basement of a large company, Reynholm Industries.
So yeah, I highly recommend for you guys to watch "The IT Crowd"! Super nakakatawa talaga... Hmmm, is it pronounced as I.T as in Information Technology or "it" as in the slang word?? I think it's as in Information Technology because they work as I.T staff. Haha! The Series 2 was just released last August and we'll probably download it from Torrent. ***
Oh i already watched episode 3 of Heroes but there's nothing much to blog about... err uhmm.. except sa bitin na naman siya? Haha. (Maka-nuod na nga lang ng "The IT Crowd"...)
